The Grainger 16N501 is a 1/2 HP, 115V, 1725 RPM, 56C Frame, Open Drip Proof, Single Phase, Ball Bearing, Electric Motor. It has a NEMA 48Y frame with a 1.15 service factor. The motor is totally enclosed, fan cooled (TEFC) with a cast iron frame. It has a Class B insulation and is CSA certified. The 16N501 has a 1/2" diameter shaft with a 1/4" keyway and counterclockwise rotation facing the shaft end. It can be used for various industrial applications requiring 1/2 HP.
