They may be used to isolate cells grown in culture dishes or separate multiple specimens affixed to microscope slides. Isolators are available in red silicone thickness 0.5 to 2.5mm pre-cut or as sheet material with or without secure seal clean adhesive on one or both surfaces. Nonadhesive isolators are autoclavable and reusable.
