These Micromesh biopsy cassettes are compatible with Leica and Sakura printers, With 1676 square openings (0.38 mm) there is greatly improved fluid exchange without having to use biopsy pads. Large anterior and posterior slots in cassette and cover ensure the biopsy cassette will sink rapidly. A large square compartment with a side measuring 27 mm is perfect, even for needle biopsies. Molded from a special high density polymer, these patented cassettes keep specimens submerged and are resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents. The Micromesh mesh ensures efficient fluid exchange and drainage. The one-piece integral lid eliminates the need for separate steel lids. They can be opened and closed as often as necessary and relock securely without danger of specimen loss. The cover does not protrude above the cassette. Anterior writing area is at a 45 degree angle to make the cassette more suitable for automated cassette printers.Color: Yellow

The one-piece snap-latch and hinge-lock design prevents early separation of base and lid and allows one-hand operation. Lids are attached in an open position for easy filling, but can be opened or closed as often as necessary and will always relock securely. The tab on the left front side makes opening easy. Lids are easily removed by pulling sideways. The anterior writing area is at a 35 degree angle.

JB-4 Plus offers all of the same features as JB-4 except it produces less of an exothermic reaction than JB4 which is good for temperature sensitive tissues. J Kit consists 500 ml Solution A, 15 ml Solution B, 8 g Benzoyl Peroxide Catalyst.

Electron Microscopy Sciences JB-4™ Solution A 800 ML
A water soluble embedding media which is based on Glycol Methacrylate (GMA) plastic embedding. It is intended for use in preparing samples for high resolution microscopes (HRLM). The catalyzed monomer acts as a dehydration and infiltration agent; therefore, complete dehydration through 100% ethanol is not necessary (although recommended for large or dense tissues). Conventional paraffin sections have a greater degree of shrinkage and produce inadequate morphology when compared to JB-4.
