Whole brain segmentation panels are designed for study whole brain of small animals. The animals' whole brain was procured intact and was sliced into 6 equal coronal regions. Each region is 2 mm thick. The 6 regions were embedded in the same OCT block. The frozen section panel cut from this block can enable scientists or research investigators do biochemical analysis, such as the determination of neurotransmitter and metabolite concentrations for reproducible brain regions (i.e. discrete terminal fields or nuclei).

The pneumococcal powders include those types which are components of the current 23-valent vaccine against Streptococcus pneumoniae.Each of the polysaccharide antigens used in the polyvalent vaccine is extracted and purified separately. These vaccine products can be used to assay for type-specific antibodies, research immune responses and study immunodeficiencies.
