ATCC CRL-10680 - Mouse L cells expressing human CDw32 (clone 16.2 CG7)
Mouse L cells engineered to express human CDw32 (clone 16.2 CG7). These L-cell fibroblasts are commonly used as gamma-irradiated feeder cells for B cell culture and related immunology applications. Recommended culture conditions reported in literature include DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and 50 μg/mL gentamicin; incubate at 37°C.
- Stable expression of human CDw32 in an L-cell background.
- Suitable as feeder cells when gamma-irradiated.
- Grows in DMEM with 10% FBS.

For quality assurance, The XRO version of the conditioned tubes are tested for background contamination and are sealed with Brass endcaps and PTFE ferrules. The specication is that no single peak in the test chromatogram may exceed 20% (10 ng) of external standard peak (Benzene). One tube per pack is tested. Our conditioned tubes can be used without additional conditioning for most applications If lower background levels are required, its recommended that tubes be reconditioned for 15-30 minutes before use. This can be done using the TurboMatrix (TMX) Automated Thermal Desorber (ATD), or the PerkinElmer TMX TC220 Tube Conditioner. Adsorbents have different upper temperature limit. The adsorbents contained in the XRO tubes have a maximum limit of 400 °C. The recommended tube conditioning temperture is 380 °C, or 25 °C above the desired sample desorption temperature.

The included cell line overexpresses TACR3 alongside endogenous high levels of the promiscuous G protein, Gα15, coupling the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Upon activation of TACR3, the resulting calcium activity can be fluorescently assayed. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells.
