The PathHunter KDR RTK Activity cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying small molecule drug candidates targeting RTKs. This cell line enables assessment of RTK activation via detection of resulting KDR phosphorylation-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged fusion of the KDR kinase domain with transmembrane and extracellular ligand binding domain of EGFR; and also an EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. Upon ligand induced receptor activation, cross-phosphorylation of the receptor leads to SH2-EA recruitment and production of EFC signal. This stable modified cell line is provided as two vials of cryopreserved cells. For detailed product information, User Manual and datasheet, visit www.discoverx.com/kinases.
