Quantitative synthetic DNA for BK virus can be used for assay development, verification, and validation as well as monitoring of day-to-day test variation and lot-to-lot performance of molecular-based assays. The quantitative format allows for the generation of a standard curve for quantitative PCR (qPCR) to determine viral load and for other molecular biology applications. This preparation includes the full-length genome of BK virus derived from a plasmid clone (ATCC 45025).

Montana Molecular Borealis Arrestin MOR Assay - 10mL
Measure arrestin signaling kinetics in real time with the live cell, fluorescent Borealis arrestin - Mu Opioid receptor (MOR) assay. Add the unmodified MOR and Borealis sensor to cells and measure robust signals the next day on an automated plate reader or fluorescence imaging system. This assay is genetically encoded and packaged in BacMam for efficient transduction in most cell types - including uniform and near 100% efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many primary or iPSC-derived cells. The kit includes the arrestin sensor BacMam, MOR BacMam, GRK2 BacMam, 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O, and a positive control receptor and agonist (AT1R BacMam and 5mM Angiotensin II in H2O). Borealis kits for several other receptors are also available, and larger-sized kits are available on request. Other Montana Molecular tools including the cADDis cAMP sensor can be used alongside this assay.

This assay assesses ligand (e.g. glutamate) based activation of GRM2 GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular calcium. The included cell line overexpresses GRM2 alongside endogenous high levels of a promiscuous G-protein, coupling the receptor to the calcium signaling pathway. Upon activation of GRM2, the resulting calcium activity can be fluorescently assayed. Ready-to-assay kits consist of two vials of the stably modified clonal cell line in a convenient thaw-and-use format.
