The PathHunter OXGR1 cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. alpha-ketoglutaric acid) based activation of OXGR1 GPCR activity via detection of β-arrestin recruitment. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged OXGR1 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of OXGR1 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. Primary Human Brain Microvascular Endothelial Cells (ACBRI 376 V) were initiated from normal human brain cortex tissue. Unlike cells from other providers, Cell Systems primary cells are isolated without antibody labels for enhanced biological relevance. Each vial contains ~1 x 10^6 cells with 85-92% viability under ideal conditions. They are available at Passage 3 (<12 cumulative population doublings) and will initiate a Passage 4 cell culture in a 75 cm2 flask.
