Ku80-/- is a fibroblast cell line that was isolated from a mouse embryo. Ku80-/- is a cell line deficient in Ku80. When paired with its control Ku80+/+, it can be used in cancer drug discovery and to investigate the role of DNA double-strand break repair in chromosomal aberrations. KU80-/- was immortalized by SV40. This cell line was deposited by A Nussenzweig, LGI/NCI.
