The PathHunter DRD1 Total GPCR internalization cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) affecting GPCR activation and internalization. This cell line uses EFC technology to measure ligand-induced internalization of DRD1 via detection of localization to the early endosome. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged DRD1 and an EA-tagged early endosome protein. Upon ligand-induced receptor activation, resulting internalization of the DRD1 receptor to the early endosome leads to production of EFC signal. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. erythropoietin) induced dimerization of EpoR/EpoR receptors. This product uses EFC technology. The cell line included overexpresses EpoR target protein fused to PK alongside EpoR target protein fused to EA. Upon ligand-induced dimerization of EpoR/EpoR, detectable EFC signal is produced.
