Hepatocyte growth factor receptor (HGFR) is also known as mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor (MET), c-Met, and is a glycosylated receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a central role in epithelial morphogenesis and cancer development. HGFR protein possesses tyrosine-kinase activity. The primary single chain precursor protein is post-translationally cleaved to produce the alpha and beta subunits, which are disulfide linked to form the mature receptor. HGFR is normally expressed by cells of epithelial origin, while expression of HGF is restricted to cells of mesenchymal origin. Upon HGF stimulation, HGFR induces several biological responses that collectively give rise to a program known as invasive growth. The S2 insect cell line is derived from a primary culture of late stage (20-24 hours old) Drosophila melanogaster embryos. S2 cells are adapted for suspension culture in ESF 921 and are available as a frozen vial or suspension culture.

All RBM's are identical and durable to insure reproducible sections in the day-to-day, year-to-year, or on a between laboratory basis.
Constructed from high grade zinc to allow for rapid temperature equilibration, easy cleaning, and sterilization. The matrices are designed to accommodate the brains of rodents placed ventral side up. The channels are precisely cut at 1 mm intervals and 0.3 mm wide.

Leukapheresis is performed using the Spectra Optia Apheresis System. Mononuclear cell-rich blood is continuously collected using ACD-A as an anti-coagulant. During collection, autologous plasma is combined with apheresed cells at a 4:6 ratio. Leukopak collections result in large yields of single-donor mononuclear cells (MNCs).
This product is filled to deliver no less than 135mL and is shipped in a 150mL transfer bag. TNC in our leukapheresis products are composed of, on average, 50% T cells, 20% monocytes, 10% B cells, 7% NK cells, and 3% granulocytes. Actual TNC concentration and cell type percentages vary from collection to collection.
HLA and CMV status are available upon request. All donors undergo an in-person screening including bloodborne pathogens testing, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1 and 2.
