Recognizes a protein of 205 kDa-220 kDa, identified as CD45RA (Workshop III). CD45RA is isoforms of the human leukocyte common antigen (CD45). Human CD45 contains three exons which encode peptide segments designated A, B and C, respectively. The differential splicing of the exons generates at least five isoforms, ABC, AB, BC, B and O. This antibody reacts with ABC and BC isoforms. CD45RA is expressed on 40-50% of peripheral CD4 T-cells, 50% of peripheral CD8 T-cells, B-cells, and leukemic B-cell lines. T-cells expressing CD45RA are naive or virgin T-cells. T-cells expressing CD45RO are memory T-cells. CD45RA and CD45RO define complementary, predominantly non-overlapping populations of resting peripheral T-cells. This MAb is useful in study on the subpopulation of CD4 or CD8 T-cells. Biotium Cytokeratin 5/6/18(LP34), CF568 conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Recognizes polypeptides of 58 kDa, 56 kDa, and 45 kDa, identified as cytokeratin 5, 6, and 18 respectively. It shows no reaction with keratin 1, 8, or 19. This MAb shows a broad pattern of reactivity with epithelial tissues, from simple glandular epithelia to stratified squamous epithelia. Epithelial cells are labeled whether they are ectodermal, mesodermal, or endodermal in origin. This MAb is useful in detecting cells of epithelial origin in mixed tumors, in effusions, in bone marrow samples, or in tissue culture cells.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. It is impossible to perform a double labeling experiment in combination with, for instance a mouse primary antibody, since applicable secondary antibodies are either raised in rabbit or goat. To overcome this difficulty the Aurion Series of Secondary ImmunoGold conjugates is based on antibodies raised in Donkey, including Donkey-anti-Goat. It is then known that mixing Donkey-anti-Goat and Donkey-anti-Mouse provides a successful solution.

This antibody recognizes an intermediate filament protein (IFP) of 55 kDa, which is identified as cytokeratin 7. This MAb is highly specific to cytokeratin 7 and shows no cross-reaction with other IFPs. Cytokeratin 7 is a basic cytokeratin, which is found in most glandular and transitional epithelia but not in the stratified squamous epithelia. Keratin 7 is expressed in the epithelial cells of ovary, lung, and breast but not of colon, prostate, or gastrointestinal tract. Cytokeratin 8 (CK8) belongs to the type II (or B or basic) subfamily of high molecular weight cytokeratins and exists in combination with cytokeratin 18 (CK18). This MAb cocktail recognizes all simple epithelia including glandular epithelium, for example thyroid, female breast, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory tract, and urogenital tract including transitional epithelium. All adenocarcinomas and most squamous carcinomas are positive but keratinizing squamous carcinomas are usually negative. This antibody is useful in demonstrating the presence of Paget cells; there is very little keratin 18 in the normal epidermis so only Paget cells are stained.
