Biotium FAM SE, 5 and 6 isomers
5(6)-FAM SE (full name: 5-(and-6)-Carboxyfluorescein, succinimidyl ester mixed isomers) is an amine-reactive green fluorescent dye widely used for labeling proteins or other molecules that contain a primary or secondary aliphatic amine. The coupling reaction is usually carried out at pH 8-9.5. The amide linkage from the coupling reaction is much more stable than the thiourea linkage formed from the coupling of an amine and an isothiocyanate. Biotium 5-TAMRA-PEO3-amine
5-TAMRA-PEO3-amine (Tetramethylrhodamine-PEO3-amine) has a long water-soluble PEG spacer separating the dye and the amine functional group. Biotium Smooth Muscle Actin(1A4), CF640R conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Actin is a major component of the cytoskeleton and is present in most cell types. This MAb is highly specific to actin from smooth muscles. Its epitope lies in the first four N-terminal amino acids. This MAb does not stain cardiac or skeletal muscle; however, it does stain myofibroblasts and myoepithelial cells. This antibody could be used together with anti-muscle specific actin and myogenin in making a diagnosis of smooth muscle and skeletal muscle tumors. In most cases of rhabdomyosarcoma, this antibody yields negative results whereas anti-muscle specific actin and myogenin are positive. Leiomyosarcomas are positive only with anti-muscle specific actin and anti-smooth muscle actin and are negative with anti-myogenin.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels.
