Reveal Decloaker is a heat retrieval solution that is suitable for most antibody-antigen staining and reduces non-specific background staining, blocks endogenous peroxidase and removes mercury crystals. Reveal Decloaker can be used with Biocare's digital electric pressure cooker (Decloaking Chamber), a steamer, a water bath, or a microwave oven. For many antibodies, titers are doubled and background staining is significantly reduced when compared to citrate buffer, pH 6.0. Reveal Decloaker incorporates Assure technology, a color-coded high temperature pH indicator solution. The end-user is assured by visual inspection that the solution is at the correct dilution and pH. This product is specially formulated for superior pH stability at high temperatures and will help prevent the possibility of losing pH sensitive antigens. Reveal Decloaker is non-toxic, non-flammable, odorless and sodium azide and thimerosal free.

CD45R, also designated CD45 and PTPRC, has been identified as a transmembrane glycoprotein, broadly expressed among hematopoietic cells. Multiple isoforms of CD45R are distributed throughout the immune system according to cell type. These isoforms arise because of alternative splicing of exons 4, 5, and 6. The corresponding protein domains are characterized by the binding of monoclonal antibodies specific for CD45RA (exon 4), CD45RB (exon 5), CD45RC (exon 6) and CD45RO (exons 4 to 6 spliced out). The variation in these isoforms is localized to the extracellular domain of CD45R, while the intracellular domain is conserved. Ten to forty percent of the patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) develop cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections. In some patients with AIDS, CMV is detected in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), urine, and other specimens, even when there are no symptoms of CMV disease. An indicator of active CMV infection is needed to facilitate the diagnosis of CMV disease in patients with AIDS or HIV infection. This antibody recognizes a ~90-95 kDa protein which is identified as cell surface transferrin receptor (CD71), a disulfide-bonded homodimeric glycoprotein of 180-190 kDa (Workshop IV). This MAb is highly specific to CD71 and shows no cross-reaction with other related proteins. Ligand for transferrin receptor is the serum iron transport protein, transferrin. This receptor is broadly distributed in carcinomas, sarcomas, leukemias, and lymphomas. Recognizes an integral membrane glycoprotein of 150 kDa, identified as CD13 (also known as aminopeptidase-N). The antibody recognizes an extracellular epitope. The CD13 antigen is present on most cells of myeloid origin including granulocytes, monocytes, mast cells, and GM-progenitor cells. It is also expressed by the majority of AML, CML in myeloid blast crisis, and in a smaller fraction of lymphoid leukemias. CD13 is absent from normal lymphocytes, platelets and erythrocytes. Recognizes a protein of 33-37 kDa, identified as CD20 (Workshop V; Code CD20.12). B9E9 recognizes extracellular domain of CD20. This antibody recognizes a protein of 66 kDa-170 kDa, identified as involucrin. In Western blotting of cultured human keratinocytes, this MAb reacts with a 120 kDa protein. It stains the involucrin in a variety of sizes: 170 kDa in MCF-7 cells, a doublet of ~115 kDa and 150 kDa in gorilla and owl monkey, 66 kDa in dog, and a doublet of 105 kDa in pig.
