Montana Molecular Red Fluorescent ACE2 BacMam - 30mL
Red fluorescent ACE2 packaged in BacMam for expression in mammalian cells. BacMam provides even, near 100% transduction efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many other cell lines, iPSCs, and primary cultures including A549s and HUVECs. Expression is easily titrateable to your experimental needs or to adjust assay sensitivity. This kit includes the Red Fluorescent ACE2 BacMam and 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O. 5mL and 60mL sizes are available as well. Use with other Montana Molecular tools including Pseudo-SARS-CoV-2 and BacMam-packaged TMPRSS2, Neuropilin-1, and Cathepsin-L.

Recognizes a protein of 185 kDa, which is identified as c-erbB-2/HER-2/neu. Its epitope is localized in the extracellular domain. C-erbB-2/HER-2 is a member of the EGFR family. Biotium Neurofilament (NF-H)(NF421), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This MAb reacts with a 200 kDa protein, identified as heavy sub-unit of neurofilaments (NF-H). Neurofilaments make up the main structural elements of axons and dendrites and are found in neurons, peripheral nerves, and sympathetic ganglion cells. Neurofilaments consist of three major subunits with molecular weights of 68 kDa (NF-L), 160 kDa (NF-M) and 200 kDa (NF-H). Anti-neurofilament stains a number of neural, neuroendocrine, and endocrine tumors. Neuromas, ganglioneuromas, gangliogliomas, ganglioneuroblastomas, and neuroblastomas stain positively for anti-neurofilament. Neurofilaments are also present in paragangliomas as well as adrenal and extra-adrenal pheochromocytomas. Biotium Giardia lamblia(BB1.1E5), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Giardiasisis a diarrheal illness caused by a single celled microscopic protozoan parasite, Giardia lamblia, also known as Giardia intestinalis. Giardia lamblia exists in two forms, an active form called a trophozoite, and an inactive form called a cyst. The active trophozoite attaches to the lining of the small intestine and is responsible for causing the signs and symptoms of giardiasis. The trophozoite cannot live long outside of the body and spread of infection is via the cyst, which is excreted in the host's feces. When it is ingested, stomach acid activates the cyst, and the cyst develops into the disease causing trophozoite in the new host. CD100 (also known as Semaphorin 4D), is a homodimeric protein comprised of 50 kDa subunits. It is expressed on resting T cells and weakly on other lymphocytes, and its expression is increased on B and T cells after stimulation. CD100 is a cell surface receptor that binds to CD72, Plexin B1 and Plexin B2. Alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) is an oncofetal glycoprotein with a single chain of 70 kDa. This MAb is highly specific to AFP and shows no cross-reaction with other oncofetal antigens or serum albumin. AFP is normally synthesized in the liver, intestinal tract, and yolk sac of the fetus. In Western blotting, this antibody detects an antigen of 125 kDa in human liver and 135 kDa in tumors of histiocytic origin. Comparative study of this MAb and a standard CD68 MAb showed that their antigens are different. Its antigen in all macrophage types studied is located on the plasma membrane and within cytoplasmic structures including lysosomes. This MAb shows a restricted reactivity to cells of the monocyte/macrophage system. It specifically reacts with blood monocytes and stains resident macrophages in a wide variety of human tissues. This MAb does not stain antigen-presenting cells, e.g., Langerhans cells. This MAb reacts with the rod domain of human cytokeratin-19 (CK19), a polypeptide of 40 kDa. Its epitope maps between amino acid 312-335. CK19 is expressed in sweat gland, mammary gland ductal and secretory cells, bile ducts, gastrointestinal tract, bladder urothelium, oral epithelia, esophagus, and ectocervical epithelium. Anti-CK19 reacts with a wide variety of epithelial malignancies including adenocarcinomas of the colon, stomach, pancreas, biliary tract, liver, and breast. Perhaps the most useful application is the identification of thyroid carcinoma of the papillary type, although 50%-60% of follicular carcinomas are also labeled. Biotium Chromogranin A(CGA/414), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
Chromogranin A is present in neuroendocrine cells throughout the body, including the neuroendocrine cells of the large and small intestine, adrenal medulla and pancreatic islets. It is an excellent marker for carcinoid tumors, pheochromocytomas, paragangliomas, and other neuroendocrine tumors. Co-expression of chromogranin A and neuron specific enolase (NSE) is common in neuroendocrine neoplasms. Reportedly, co-expression of certain keratins and chromogranin indicates neuroendocrine lineage. The presence of strong anti-chromogranin staining and absence of anti-keratin staining should raise the possibility of paraganglioma. The co-expression of chromogranin and NSE is typical of neuroendocrine neoplasms. Biotium CD43(84-3C1), CF488A conjugate, 0.1mg/mL
This antibody recognizes a cell surface glycoprotein of 95/115/135 kDa (depending upon the extent of glycosylation), identified as CD43 (Workshop III). 70-90% of T-cell lymphomas and from 22-37% of B-cell lymphomas express CD43. No reactivity has been observed with reactive B-cells. So a B-lineage population that co-expresses CD43 is highly likely to be a malignant lymphoma, especially a low-grade lymphoma, rather than a reactive B-cell population. When CD43 antibody is used in combination with anti-CD20, effective immunophenotyping of the lymphomas in formalin-fixed tissues can be obtained.
