METASPEC ASTM D4340 Heat-Transfer Cast Aluminum Test Specimen 10PK. Each specimen has two drilled edge holes for thermocouples, and one face polished per ASTM D4340. Sold in multiples of 10.
Cast aluminum test specimen (also known as a heat-transfer specimen) used in ASTM D4340 (Corrosion of Cast Aluminum Alloys in Engine Coolants Under Heat-Rejecting Conditions). The metal test specimen is 2.6" in diameter and 1/2" thick and has two thermocouple holes drilled into one edge. The material is 319 cast aluminum (UNS A03190). ASTM D4340 is run in duplicate; two test specimens are required.

Electron Microscopy Sciences SEM Tin On Carbon Test Specimen, Hitachi Stub
Tin on Carbon is an alternate test specimen for medium resolution, and for the daily basic checking of your instrument performance. This specimen consists of a dispersion of tin spheres, within the size range 10 - 40 nm, on a carbon substrate. Ideal for astigmatism correction, it is also recommended for use in SEM's employed in the semi-conductor industry where the usual gold on carbon specimen cannot be used because of the risk of gold poisoning.
