Chickens were immunized with highly purified recombinant coronavirus nucleoprotein and the eggs were collected and delipidated. Antibody was immunoaffinity purified off a coronavirus nucleoprotein containing immunosorbent. Antibody concentration was determined using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.32 equals 1.0 mg of IgY. This antibody reacts with coronavirus wild type and Omicron as determined by ELISA and western blot. This antibody may cross react with coronavirus from other species. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.
