Vials with improperly crimped caps can cause evaporation and data errors; to avoid these caps that are easy to apply correctly, every time.Pre-assembled with a magnetic gold cover over a Blue, 9-425mm, screw cap with a 1mm thick, non-slit, Silicone / PTFE Septa. These screw caps are designed for autosamplers that use a magnetic closure such as the or the Thermo TriPlus™ and can be used with any 9mm, BASIK™, MicroSolv™ AQ™ or RSA™ Brand, Screw Top, 12x32mm, autosampler Vial. Excellent for GC or Headspace analysis.

Ordinary vials and caps without these safety features may burst. All of our headspace vials have a greater wall thickness and round base which enables them to withstand pressure up to 60 psig. Low-volume sampling can be achieved by using a 6 mL vial and vial adapter. All PerkinElmer headspace vials are manufactured to specific tolerances that are guaranteed for fit and performance.
