UVM Modified Listeria Enrichment (Secondary) Broth is a selective enrichment medium used during the secondary phase of Listeria monocytogenes detection protocols. It is typically applied following primary enrichment to enhance the recovery and growth of Listeria species while inhibiting competing background microflora present in food or environmental samples. Each sterile tube contains 9mL of prepared enrichment medium optimized for laboratory testing workflows. The formulation promotes selective growth of Listeria monocytogenes, improving detection accuracy during microbiological analysis. This medium is widely used in food safety laboratories, environmental monitoring programs, and quality control testing where reliable detection of Listeria contamination is essential.
