The labels can be applied to metal, plastic, and glass surfaces and withstand 20 autoclave sterilization cycles at +121°C (+250°F) and 16.5 psi pressure. The labels and the printout can withstand high temperature exposures as well as gamma irradiation (up to 50 KGy) and ethylene oxide sterilization. These labels are ideally suited for storage of small diameter cryo tubes and vials, polypropylene cryo/freezer boxes, cardboard freezer boxes, cell culture plates, and plastic bags in liquid and vapor phase liquid nitrogen (-196°C/-321°F), and lab freezers (-80°C/-112°F), as well as for dry ice transportation. Waterproof and made of a strong thermoplastic film, these labels can be immersed in liquid nitrogen immediately following application, and withstand multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Compatible with all common thermal-transfer printers, they can be printed on with alphanumeric text, barcodes, serial numbers, serial barcodes, and other types of information.

Designed for long-term preservation in liquid nitrogen (-196°C/-321°F), -80°C (-112°F) freezers, for dry ice transportation, and can withstand temperatures up to +100°C (+212°F)*.Printable with all common brands of laser printers to obtain a sharp, smudge-proof printout that is also resistant to mild laboratory chemicals (spray and swab). They can be applied on frozen vials and tubes without the need of an overlap and can also be written on with our Cryo-Markers.*These labels have been tested to withstand up to 2 hours of 150°C/302°F dry heat. Temperature-resistant from -196 to 100C, withstand boiling water baths, moderate oven temperatures (150C), autoclaving, and extreme freezer temperatures (liquid and vapor phase nitrogen).
