Hot List Tips

Access your Personal and Company Hotlists via My Hotlists, which appears on the navigation bar at the top of all pages after you've logged in.

When it comes up, the My Hotlists page displays the first Hotlist you created. You can select a different Hotlist from the dropdown menu, which displays your other Hotlists in alphabetical order. If you have both company and personal hotlists, two separate dropdown menus will display.

You can create as many Personal Hotlists as you wish and put as many products on each list as you want. If you are a SuperUser or Administrator, you also can create multiple Company Hotlists containing as many products as needed. Some users find it convenient to create separate Hotlists by product category, department, product application, etc.

To create a new Hotlist:

  • Click on My Hotlists at the top of any page.

  • Click on create a new hotlist at the top of the Hotlists window.

  • A new page will prompt you to name the new hotlist, then click Add Hotlist.

Note: If you are creating your first Hotlist, the dropdown menu in the Personal Hotlists window will display only "My Hotlist." This will be the name of the first hotlist you create unless you change it. (See How Do I Rename a Hotlist, below.) Even if you change its name, the first Hotlist you create will always display first when you click on My Hotlists.

  • Add a product from its catalog page or from your Shopping Cart by clicking on Add to Hotlist next to the item you want to add.

  • A new page will display the product description and directory of your Hotlists. Note that products in your hot list are listed alphabetically based on description. You can create a different description for the product (e.g., "My Favorite Filter Membrane") by editing the one provided.

Select the Hotlist to which you want to add the product(s) from the dropdown box. Then click Save to Hotlist.

All logged-in Registered Users can order from both Personal and Company Hotlists.

  • Click on My Hotlists after logging in.

  • In the Personal or Company Hotlists window, select the Hotlist you want to order from and click activate.

  • Select the unit of measure, if applicable, and type in a quantity for each product you want to order. You can select as many products as you need from the active Hotlist. Then click Add Items to Shopping Cart at the bottom.

Note: You can add items from more than one Hotlist to a single Shopping Cart. After selecting from one Hotlist and adding to cart, click on My Hotlists to return to your collection of hotlists. Then proceed from Step 2.

You can edit individual products on a Personal Hotlist at any time. However, only logged-in Registered Users with SuperUser or Administrator privileges can modify Company Hotlists.

  • Click on My Hotlists.

  • Select the Hotlist you want to modify from the directory and click activate.

    To delete a product, click delete to the right of the product listing.

To change a product description, click edit. A new page will display the current description and the Hotlist in which it appears. Edit the existing description with the new one. You can add the product to another Hotlist by selecting a different Hotlist from the directory on that same page. Click Save to Hotlist to save your changes.

Before you delete an entire Hotlist, BE SURE THAT'S WHAT YOU WANT TO DO! Once you delete, the Hotlist is gone and irretrievable!

You can delete any Personal Hotlist at any time.

Click on My Hotlists.

Select the Hotlist you want to delete from the directory and click delete.
