DRBC (Dichloran Rose Bengal Chloramphenicol) Agar is a selective and non-differential medium used for the enumeration of yeasts and molds in food and dietary products. The antifungal agent Dichloran restricts growth of mucoraceous fungi and reduces colony size of other spreading fungi. Rose Bengal and Chloramphenicol serve as selective agents against bacteria, the former contributing to reduce colony size of fast-growing molds. • Product meets BAM and ISO reference methods and performance criteria.• DRBC should be used by trained professionals within a laboratory setting. • Product is not intended for use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease or other human conditions.
