Cajon adapters provide the flexibility of rubber tubing and are the ideal replacement for rubber, plastic, or glass tubing in critical vacuum applications. Connections compensate for misalignment, expansion and contraction; they are compressible by at least 20%, and they are extendable by 50% of its nominal listed length. Cajon adapters are supplied complete with two AF-0067 unions, two AF-0068 cuff adapters, and listed length of flexible tubing. NOTE: Since Flexible tubing will contract when evacuated, glass apparatus should NOT be firmly clamped in place until vacuum is established within the system.
