3-D Life Dextran-PEG Hydrogel SG, Ready-To-Design slow-gelling biomimetic hydrogel kit for 3D cell cultures. INTRO: 3-D Life technology, manufactured in Germany by Cellendes GmbH, is an integrated system for the generation of biomimetic hydrogels used in 3D cell culture. DESCRIPTION: 3-D Life Dextran-PEG Hydrogel SG Kit provides reagents for setting up slow gelling, cell-compatible hydrogels. Its major components are SG-Dextran and the crosslinker PEG-Link. When the two reagents are combined, thiol groups on PEG-Link form stable thioether bonds with thiol-reactive groups on SG-Dextran, which results in the formation of the gel. The slow gelation kinetics allows enough time to conveniently manipulate the solution before the onset of gel formation. APPLICATION: 3-D cell culture, hydrogel injections, filling of microchannels, generation of soft to very stiff gels. QUANTITY: Allows formation of up to 2 ml 3-D Life Hydrogel depending on the stiffness of the gel.
