(3S,5S)-Atorvastatin is an inactive enantiomer of Atorvastatin. It can activate pregnane X receptor (PXR). Atorvastatin is an orally active HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, which effectively decreases blood lipids. This product is for research use only and not sold to patients.

  • Increases CYP2B and CYP3A mRNA content with equal ability as Atorvastatin.
  • Induces luciferase activity with an EC50 of 12.4 μM at 100 μM concentrations.
  • Addition to FPBA/l-tryptophanol mixture induces intensity enhancement of l-tryptophanol fluorescence.
