It can be obtained via mechanochemistry and solvent evaporation and exhibits a loss of the carbonyl group at 500-550 K. In vitro, 4-Acetylphenylboronic acid (30 μM) shows 18.1% inhibition of cells against the BJ Human fibroblast cell line, suggesting no cytotoxicity.
