ABclonal Technology 67kDa Laminin Receptor Rabbit mAb

Supplier: ABclonal Technology A5968500UL
Laminins are major noncollagenous components of basement membranes and influence processes like cell adhesion, migration, signaling, and metastasis through interactions with cell surface receptors. This gene encodes a high-affinity, non-integrin laminin receptor known as 67 kD laminin receptor, 37LRP, or p40 ribosome-associated protein. Its amino acid sequence is highly conserved, indicating a vital function. Elevated expression of this receptor is observed in colon carcinoma and lung cancer cells and is linked to increased invasiveness and metastasis. Although multiple gene copies exist, most are pseudogenes from retroposition. Two alternatively spliced transcripts encode the same protein.
