It allows the centrifuge to spin smaller volume tubes that normally would not fit. The rotor adapter is made of durable polypropylene and can hold up to 18 microcentrifuge tubes. It fits seamlessly into the Microfuge 18 rotor and is easy to load and unload tubes. This adapter expands the versatility of the Microfuge 18 for research requiring smaller volume tubes.
