Clone UCHT1 is a mouse (BALB/c) monoclonal antibody that reacts with the ~20 kDa CD3ε subunit of the human and chimpanzee T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex, which is expressed on the surface of ~95% of mature T cells and NKT cells, and variably on thymocytes. Verified for use with flow cytometry and cell separation assays, use this antibody in applications requiring the detection of CD3. This antibody clone has also been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including EasySep™ Direct Human T Cell Isolation Kit (Catalog #19661), EasySep™ Human CD3 Positive Selection Kit II (Catalog #17851; partial blocking may be observed), EasySep™ HLA Whole Blood T Cell Enrichment Kit (Catalog #19951HLA) and EasySep™ HLA Whole Blood CD2 Positive Selection Kit (Catalog #18687HLA).
