Bedaquiline fumarate is a diarylquinoline antibiotic that targets ATP synthase and is effective for treating *Mycobacterium tuberculosis* infections. It inhibits the growth of TDR *M. tuberculosis* strains with MIC values ranging from 0.125 to 0.5 mg/L, and also demonstrates high activity against *Mycobacterium avium* and moderate activity against other nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) species.

  • Inhibits TDR *M. tuberculosis* strains with MIC values from 0.125 to 0.5 mg/L
  • Highest activity against *Mycobacterium avium* among slowly growing mycobacteria (SGM)
  • More susceptible against *Mycobacterium abscessus* subsp. *abscessus* and *massiliense* than *Mycobacterium fortuitum* among rapidly growing mycobacteria (RGM)
  • Shows moderate in vitro activity against NTM species
  • Excellent in vitro activity against multidrug-resistant *Mycobacterium tuberculosis*
