C166-GFP cells are a mouse yolk-sac endothelial cell line stably expressing enhanced green fluorescent protein (GFP). These adherent, reporter-labeled cells are suitable for fluorescence-based assays, assay development, cardiovascular research, and high-throughput screening.
- Derived from yolk-sac endothelium and expressing GFP for fluorescence-based assays.
- Adherent growth suitable for standard 2D and 3D culture formats.
- Grow at 37°C in 5% CO2 in recommended DMEM supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and G-418 selection.
- Supplied frozen; store in vapor phase liquid nitrogen and cryopreserve with 5% DMSO.
- Biosafety level 2; contains viral DNA sequences and a neomycin resistance gene used for selection.
- Mycoplasma not detected on release testing.
