This specially designed septa provides easy penetration by autosampler needles with improved resealing compared to other Snap Caps. The ultra-pure Silicone Rubber and PTFE have no added color producing the highest purity septa on the market with virtually no contamination or extractables. The Star Shaped (*) slit offers a much greater target area for an autosampler needle to penetrate the septa and offers minimal resistance. It may not reseal as well as other Pre-Slit Septa. Recommended for LCMS/MS.
