- Suitable for suspension culture at 37°C with 5% CO2.
- Grow in Dulbecco's Modified Eagle's Medium supplemented with 10% horse serum.
- Biosafety level 1; store frozen in vapor phase of liquid nitrogen.
- Cryopreserve using complete medium with 5% (v/v) DMSO.
- Seed at 5 x 10^4 viable cells/mL; refresh 20-30% medium every 2-4 days.
- Tested negative for ectromelia virus.
