Ceftolozane sulfate (CXA-101) is an antipseudomonal cephalosporin that demonstrates high affinity binding to *P. aeruginosa* essential PBPs (1b, 1c, 2 and 3). It functions by inhibiting cell wall synthesis through its binding to these PBPs. Ceftolozane sulfate effectively inhibits both *P. aeruginosa* and *Enterobacteriaceae*.
