Column, Chromatography, 24/40 Outer Joint, 500mL Reservoir, 1 1/2in ID X 8in E.L., 2mm Stopcock. Similar to CG-1196 but with a COARSE porosity sealed in fritted disc to support column packing. Column is constructed using MEDIUM WALL TUBING. Can be used as a gravity eluted column or a flash column (as described by W.C. Still, M. Kahn and A. Mitra of Columbia University in JOURNAL OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY 43, 2923 [1978], and covered in U.S. Patent Number 4,293,422 dated October 6, 1981) when used with CG-1191 flow control adapter. Lower end of the column has a round bottom.
