  • Selective thyroid hormone receptor alpha agonist.
  • Shows EC50 values for human TRalpha transactivation activity in HeLa cells (11 nM) and U2OS cells (34 nM).
  • Demonstrates approximately 50% cholesterol reduction in hypothyroid Wistar rats at a dose of 0.8 nmol/g.
  • Increases Dio1 mRNA in hypothyroid Wistar rats at doses of 0.8, 2.5, and 5 nmol/g.
  • Soluble in DMSO at 250 mg/mL (422.18 mM) in vitro.
