The transformed B cells are from the same patient as the COLO 829 malignant melanoma cell line (ATCC CRL-1974) and as such offers a paired human normal and tumor cell line for comparative studies. This cell line was deposited by G.E. Moore. It can be used in cancer and immunology research.
