Patented design conducts heat away from the ring and the finger. No need for external irrigation or frequent stops. The patient is comfortable. Ring is removed. Staff is free to handle the next emergency. Will cut platinum and titanium rings, depending upon grade, in a longer timeframe, with stops. Tungsten rings will damage this ring cutter. Chrome blade assembly can be sterilized
