VAL-083 is an alkylating agent that creates N7 methylation on DNA, exhibiting antitumor activity. It suppresses cell growth and induces apoptosis in U251 and SF188 cells, and inhibits T98G cell growth in a dose-dependent manner. VAL-083 also inhibits the proliferation, migration, and invasion of HUVEC and U251 cells, reducing the expression of MMP2, VEGF, VEGFR2, and FGF2.
