The Micro 100 Drill Mill Carbide is a high-performance carbide end mill designed for milling and drilling operations in steels, cast irons, and other hard materials. It features a TiAlN coating for increased tool life and heat resistance. This 2-flute end mill has a 1/2" shank diameter and is available in diameters ranging from 1/8" to 1/2". It can achieve surface finishes as fine as 32 microinches Ra. The variable helix flutes promote efficient chip evacuation. Recommended speeds and feeds are 20,000-35,000 RPM with feed rates from 0.001-0.004 IPR depending on diameter.
