The Micro 100 226-CXG carbide end mill is a 2 flute, uncoated end mill with a 1/4" shank diameter, 1/2" overall length, and 1/4" cutting diameter. It has a TiAlN coating for wear resistance when machining steels, high temp alloys, titanium alloys, nickel alloys, and other hard materials. The end mill features a 135 degree split point geometry for reduced cutting forces, smoother shearing action, and positive chip control. Recommended speeds are 60-100 SFM when cutting tool steel, 40-70 SFM in stainless steel, and 30-50 SFM in cast iron. The end mill is made in the USA by Micro 100 Tool Corp.
