The Micro 100 1/4" Shank Threading Tool is a high speed steel threading tool with a 60 degree threading insert. It has a 1/4" shank diameter and is designed for internal threading operations. The tool comes with one DCMT 060204 threading insert which provides a sharp cutting edge and allows for multiple regrinds. The insert is made from micro-grain carbide for wear resistance and strength. This threading tool is suitable for use on most common materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, bronze, plastics and more.
