DESCRIPTION: EMEM Fibroblasts is a cell culture medium based on MEM Eagle (Eagle's Minimum Essential Medium) which was in turn developed from BME (Basal Medium Eagle). EMEM Fibroblasts is optimized specifically for the cultivation of fibroblasts. EMEM Fibroblasts is based on EMEM supplemented with additional or higher amount of amino acids and vitamins and is thus optimized for improved growth of fibroblasts. For cultivation of fibroblasts, this medium must be supplemented with 10% FBS before use.
