The Kyocera 170HF9 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high feed end mill made of micrograin carbide with TiAlN coating. It has a 1-1/2" LOC and is designed for high feed milling in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron. The end mill features variable helix flutes to reduce harmonics and vibration and an optimized core diameter for strength and stability in heavy milling applications. With its high feed geometry, this end mill can take very aggressive chip loads.
