The Kyocera 170HJ8 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a 1/2" shank diameter and features TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. This end mill is designed for general purpose milling in a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, plastics and other non-ferrous metals. It has a 30 degree helix angle and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. The 170HJ8 end mill is made in Japan by Kyocera and sold individually.
