The Grainger 170JC1 is a 1/2 HP, 115V, 1725 RPM, 56C frame, open drip proof, single phase, ball bearing, sleeve bearing electric motor. It has a 1/2" diameter shaft and measures approximately 9-1/2" long by 5-3/4" wide. This motor can be used for various industrial applications and is totally enclosed and fan cooled for protection against dirt, dust and moisture. It requires a minimum 12 gauge wire and 30 amp circuit breaker and operates on single phase 115V power. The motor is thermally protected against overload.
