The External Grooving Toolholder KKCL-122B-170HX2 by Kennametal is a right-hand external grooving toolholder with a 1/2" shank diameter and a maximum groove width of 0.122". It has an American National Standard Code (ANSI) insert style of 170 with a hook-lever clamp and is made of steel. The toolholder accepts inserts with a thickness of 0.118" to 0.197" and has a maximum depth of cut of 0.315". It can be used for external grooving, profiling and cutoff applications. The toolholder allows for high feed rates and secure clamping of inserts.
