Purity™ Flash Cartridges are superior because they are packed with Premium Rf™ Silica Gel. The porosity is 60A, particle distribution is 40-75um, bed mass is 1600g, and quantity is 2/pk. Sorbtech's packing technique & Premium Rf's narrow particle distribution results in a uniform packed bed. The benefits are no channeling, higher resolution, decrease in backpressure, faster flow, and faster run time. Additionally, the small pore volume allows for more silica gel per column volume leading to greater loadability and less solvent use. Finally, the high purity silica gel (minimal surface metals) reduces mixed-mode interactions (no peak tailing or resolution loss). The polypropylene cartridge has standard luer-lock end fittings and is spin-welded (leak-free) allowing higher pressures up to 100 psi. The cartridges are compatible with all flash chromatography systems.
