Foam Level Probes are used in fermentation bioreactors to detect the presence of foam or the liquid level within the bioreactor vessel. When the foam level or liquid level reaches the tip of the probe, a conductance path is created for the probe to trigger the controller to react and introduce anti-foaming agent.
