Efficiently detect caspase-3/7 activity in cell lysates prepared from mammalian cells undergoing apoptosis by using the Caspase-3/7 Activity Plate Reader Assay Kit, Green. This reagent kit includes the fluorogenic substrate Z-DEVD-Rh 110-DVED-Z and an assay buffer. With its quick and simple staining protocol, this kit is well suited for high-throughput screening and compatible with standard fluorescent plate readers. Z-DEVD-Rh 110-DVED-Z has an excitation wavelength of 500 nm and a fluorescence emission wavelength of 522 nm. When added to apoptotic cells, Z-DEVD-Rh 110-DVED-Z is cleaved by activated caspase-3/7, producing a green fluorescent signal that can be detected by standard plate readers.
